Was wondering how many miles you are getting out of the factory Pirelli tires.

I have 5,200 miles and they are starting to look flat.

What is the life expectancy of these tires?

That's about right I pushed mine to 7k but should of changed them at 4k. If you run a higher pressure that will help in extending the life before you get the flat spot.

For street/commuting I run Michelin Road 4

Track / Twisties ( I have spare set of rims) Pirelli SuperCorsa

BTW I ride and 848 not a monster...

Just under 4k on mine. I will probably put a few hundred on this weekend. Going to throw on the Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsas on sometime this month (stock equipment on the 899 Pani).

4000/5000 are a good rate for pirelli (my m1200 has pirelli diablo rosso 2 from factory stock). After that mileage they don't go flat but they loose traction on sides. Obviously the central part turns quite flat but my way of using the bike is more on hills or mountains streets than motorways...
I also used pirelli diablo rosso corsa or pirelli diablo sp. Max 4500 miles but definetly more traction loss than central flatting

Im noticing that as well. Front was pushing quite a bit this weekend. Tires are not looking too flat either, just loss of grip.

6500 of the first set of Pirelli, and 3500 on the 2nd set, only explanation I have is first set I was somewhat of a newer rider.... always checked pressure....
