There will be lots and lots of yellow smoke.
I can also tell you that Magic Marc the King Marquez will do everything in his power to deny Rossi the joy of a home win this season. Get ready for a scrap.

bwin and bet365 both have Lorenzo winning Misano and winning the championship
That's really interesting, I wonder what they know that we don't know? I know it's a possibility but I feel it's not probable?
This is Flossi's home turf as well as Ducati's, they will all want good results here.
Marquez just wants to win to spoil the party, should be a great race.

As always a lottery picking a winner

In all honesty, IMO I think Lorenzo is the favorite to win the championship, and has the highest chances....I just really hope he doesn't! Since Marquez is pretty much out, I want to see Rossi win again! It would be pretty awesome, because how many people have won a championship and then won again 6 years later, and being older than 35!

Hell of a race that was! I kept yelling at the TV for Rossi and Marquez to pit in (that 2nd time around)...Marquez did and paid off, but unfortunately Rossi didn't listen to me :D

Whoregay crashing out though after the 2nd tire change...Priceless! That could potentially be the championship right there!

Probably the craziest thing I've seen in a GP race...Redding crashing at the beginning and still ending up in 3rd! WTF?? lol

Both the Yamaha's should have come in earlier, they both seemed too caught up in themselves they lost focus, even ignored their own pit boxes, but at the end of the day, Flossi only had to beat Joregay, nothing else really mattered, so despite his 5th position, Flossi really won the 'race' without a podium.
Marquez must be pissed off with himself for letting the Championship get away from him.

I think Joregay is going to be stuffed come 2017, when there is no Traction Control.

On another point, at about 3/4 of the race Miller was up as high as 7th, but dropped back as the race dried out, he did many laps ahead of his team mate while it was wet.
Pretty impressive for a rookie, despite his previous misgivings.

Loved the race..
Crazy, and unpredictable. Seemed like Rossi's helmet design foreshadowed the events to come.
Marc and Jorge got caught up chasing that little fish.. Marc snapped out of it, and trusted his team and entered the pits.
Jorge? Swallowed a hook sucked in by his bloodlust after the little fish. Smelled blood.. Ignored his board.. And paid the price.
That Priest back in Rossi's home town must have been rigging that 'ol church bell all night.. And the rain showed up. I feel number 10 is looking damn good.
Jorge has made some costly mental errors as of late in my eyes.. No breathe deflector last race.. Swallowed Rossi's bait this race..

Shame about Pirro as the warm up lap was about to go..

Are you sure about that?
That would be a huge safety concern from the riders would it not?
Yeah that's never going to happen, not unless they force teams to reduce the power. Any bike with over 190-200 hp is simply not safe without TC. Technology doesn't go backwards.

From what I understand about the "spec" electronics there is going to be virtually no change. The manufacturers can agree on and submit features to the software and Magneti Marelli will implement it. Traction control will definitely be there and already is. Turn by turn power mapping isn't in it yet but you can bet the manufacturers already have a proposal for it.

The "spec" hardware package is only partially spec as the manufacturers can homologate and use their own sensors. The manufacturers will provide a baseline torque map for all their "customer bikes" so they are still in control of the software for all intents and purposes.
