Hi,
Does anyone know if fitting a 2003 monster 400 front wheel to a 2000 748 is plug and play?
From what I can research,
they share the same speedo drive,
Brake rotors,
axle.
but everything else?

Good point.

In Australia the 400's are a 'grey import' and 'most' have only 1 disc.
I'm not sure where the OP resides.

I have a five spoke rear wheel that I have had painted red (stock ones are the bronze colour),
I am looking to get a second front wheel to colour match the rear (to keep the stock set stock)
I am finding it very difficult to find a 5 spoke front at a price that I can afford.
I found a twin disc moster 400 wheel that I can get at a good price with rotors.
My bike came with "Braking" brand wave style rotors with black carriers, a bonus with the monster wheel is it has round gold centred carriers which I would prefer.
Obviously I prefer a marchi 5 spoke but $ are tight. But, I am keen to have matching coloured wheels as soon as possible.
Im in Ryde, Sydney Australia.

from what I can detect from this site, the front wheel, part number 501.2.019AF
is the same for 2001 748 and 2002 monster 400.
the site has no mention of 2000 748 or 2003 m400.
'00 to '01 748 wheels are interchangeable,
now to try and find out if monster 400's changed from '02 to '03?

My mistake it is from a 2002 (not 03) so yes will fit.

It is a 3 spoke, would prefer a 5 from 996,998,ST4 etc but behind the big rotors, matching colour is more important.
I can pick up this 9000km wheel and rotors for $250, the cheapest 5 spoke front wheel I can find is $550 rotorless. the $au prevents buying from the states at the moment.
