Jeff, the monsterparts.com guy is the same guy that runs the DML. Awesome service. I had purchased a clear alternatives rear brake/turn light for my monster. After a few weeks, some of the LED's stopped working. He sent me a new LED board free of charge, and very quickly.

Sounds good guys. They sell the EVR slipper for $1295.00 which is a hell of a price. I emailed EVR to ask if there was any difference between the Monster and 1098 clutch and they said there is not. It's the same unit. The only diff is the size of the nut that mounts the hub and that's available from Yoyodyne for $20.00.

Thanks,

Lee

fyi... if there is something that you want, and you don't see it listed, ask Jeff if he can get it. odds are he can, and if he can't, he'll tell you where it can be picked up at.

I emailed him a picture of the clutch cover I was looking for.... that afternoon, he tracked one down in Germany for me.

He's also a sloppy drunk who rides a bicycle to a bar for lunch, so if you time your request just right, you may get one hell of a deal on whatever you happen to be looking for. :devilsmok

UPDATE:
I had ordered a stocking hat from the DML (Jeff) a couple of months ago. Order must have gotten lost somewhere. Shot Jeff an e-mail and my hat was here in 5 days, along with a sweet Ducati Corse baseball cap. Thanks Jeff.

It gets better. I ordered the clutch today and because I mentioned this forum Jeff gave me another 10% off. I don't know how he's making any profit on this deal. He's also going to square away the nut difference. What a hell of a nice guy.

I don't care if he's drinking Cosmoline mixed with Buffalo chips. He did right by me.

He wouldn't be a friend of yours by any chance?

Jeff is one the Ducati Monster List big cheese's. I've been a member since September 05. When I totaled my s2r 800 three months into owning it, I broke my back, and Jeff was one of the first to offer help and support. I live in Bakersfield, and Jeff use to live in Fresno, till he bailed on Cali. Jeff was also a big part of large group of people who made my wedding (last June) a day that I will never forget.

To answer the question..... yes Jeff is a friend who I would do anything for. Not because he has access to cool bike parts, but because he is really good people.

Hey Jeff,
This is Dan from CT. We spoke last week on the phone about an EVR clutch with a black on gold color scheme.

You're pretty popular round here! My gut instinct after talking with ya, was that you're good peoples and would do business with ya. But after re-reading this entire thread, I'm convinced of that! That being said, I'm looking 4 brake and clutch levers. What do you recommend, CRG?

Watch the traffic while stumbling back from the watering hole!

I was lucky enough to learn that monsterparts.com is located right in my hometown. Today I bought a Ducati performance seat and oil temp gauge from Jeff. We spent about forty minutes just talking, bikes, events, etc. and I found him to be one of the nicest guys i've ever met.

He's a stand up guy and knows his Ducati's.

I'd buy from him again without hesitation.
