Already have the tail tidy in my cart.

I'm considering this product to help clean up the rear of my bike.

Anybody have any comments on either the clear or the smoke? I was leaning towards smoke, but from pictures and videos, the smoke doesn't look much darker at all. I'm also bearing safety in mind, which the obvious choice seems to be clear. (Unless the smoke doesn't dim the brightness that badly)

Thoughts?

I have the smoke version installed on my dark 821. To me it seems perfectly bright and visible, and looks a lot better on the color of my bike.

Yup..I have it on my SFS, smoked color but you will be able to see it clearly at night or day

I have smoke. When you get it, it doesn't seem like it's smoked but it is very light.
This is a video for something else but at 3:50 you can see it in daylight with emergency lights on -
