Epic? Epic as in, Lorenzo's going to win by default because Rossi has to start from the back.

^^^ Yeah, I copy/pasted the publicity statement from my MotoGP mail... thought it was kinda funny!!
Dorna is a trip!!
The epic sports court decision on Friday as to whether Rossi's penalty is suspended or not? Honestly out of the whole thing Rossi going the lawyer route is what's most disappointing.
Well...it worked for Tom Brady!!

That is an excellent point.

The lawyer thing has a high possibility of working. They CAS court usually takes at least 6 months for a judgment. They could suspend the penalty points until further review and if Rossi does deserve them, he'll get them next season.

Doing some reading, that is not a low probability. We'll see this week!
As long as Rossi can afford a good enough lawyer to make his case for him... :p

If Rossi's penalty is suspended and he manages to win the championship how long before Lorenzo goes the same route saying the result has caused him irreparable harm? I'd guess about 2 hours.

Maybe they'll be able to announce this year's champion at Qatar next year.

Permanent Bureau - Really?

A closed door meeting is surely the best way to start off the race weekend. Telling all the riders what, exactly?

Hopefully to tell everyone to race their own race. If there is any hard evidence that you pull up to let someone pass or pull up to fack with another rider, you will be heavily penalized for the start of next season.

Or at least, that's what I'd say. lol

Slightly off topic here, but related....can someone please explain to me the difference between FIM and Dorna?? Which one's the bigger entity? Who's got the bigger dick? Carmelo or Vito??

Or it could be like "each rider will get X amount of money if they let Rossi by" :p
I thought all of the epic battles were between Rossi and Marquez for 3rd with18 laps to go? If Marquez can battle with Rossi for the majority of laps during the last three rounds can't Marquez still win the title?
PRESS CONFERENCE CANCELLED (in case you didn't click the article)

Wow... interesting moves by Dorna. Guess they didn't want to have all the riders sitting next to each other while press fires instigating questions at them. What a build up. lol

All hail Rossi! Shun Marc! Shunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.
I think we all know the break was pressed. There unfortunately, isn't video evidence that supports either Rossi or Marc hitting the breaks. Why would Marc hit the breaks? To avoid crashing himself and Rossi for Rossi's dickhead move. But Marc is the only person who knows that and nobody will believe him if he says Rossi did it.
If you read it more thoroughly, Honda say they have the data to support the brake being applied.

The data acquisition from Marc’s bike is available if anybody from Dorna, the FIM or media want to check.”

If they are discussing telemetry why don't they release the throttle and lean angle that shows Marquez check up, then lean in and open the gas? Marquez's brake lever got pushed while accelerating into the side of Rossi.

But they didn't release or discuss any other data.

I read it. I just stated that there isn't video evidence that says WHO pressed the breaks. Rossi's leg/foot or Marcs fingers.
