First hello to the forum as a new member,

does the import 1098's to the US have the same mufflers as the EU 1098 models?

Good question, as I know with cars, some makes and models do have different exhaust systems for the us vs euro market (for emission reasons). Looking at the markings on my stock cans, I'm going to say they're the same, but I may be wrong.

I also would say they are the same, just wanted to verify as the Duc will move over to Germany in 08 and try already to get prepared for it. Next spring time I already will look who could pack the Duc vacuum for the overseas transport.
