hello everyone
Yes i finally got one. wow, in red.Now i have a few questions until i get a manual.
ok,how to reset the tripmeter
What's the plug on the rightside of the oil sump, in between the oil sight glass and the filter.
On the rear shock, the adjusters, what does the left one do?
Where can i raise the idle rpm?
The fork adjusters, what does the bottom one do?
ok that's good for now, thank you

- Should be a little knob at bottom of fuse panel. Turn it to reset tripmeter.
- That is an filter screen which should be removed and cleaned occasionally. Can't remember how often but its not necessary with every oil filter change.
- There are 2 adjusters on the left side of the rear shock. The one at top of the reservoir controls compression damping. The one at the bottom shock mount controls rebound damping.
- For idle adjustment there is a set screw between the carbs which can reached from the front with a long screwdriver.
- On the fork the bottom adjuster is for compression, top adjuster is for rebound.

A workshop manual is very handy, Haynes or Clymer are good enough. Should be able to find user manual online.

the tripmeter reset

hello
ah,ah,i found it. that is the weird looking thing that was dangling from a thin long cable. The fuse box has been"relocated" ,have not found it yet.
I should describe it. it's a 1991 ss but it has the fairing and tailpiece with its seat from a 2012 1098R,in red.but it's like an older prostitute, they know how to look good from far but up close, uhmm, the welder for the brackets must have just learned his trade.
thanks for the answer
