Finally got her back together and took advantage of a semi clear day to take her out around the block and to take some shots.

Got Carbon heelguards, comp werkes replacement footpegs which feel really nice. Front plate and Fabbri dark windscreen.

Looks good. I have that same screen on order, how do you like it?
I'm sort of afraid that it might direct the air flow into my helmet
and cause buffeting. Aso, where did you find those foot pegs?
Did you have to make any mods to get them to fit?

No mods to get the footpegs on. So far I like the windscreen but I havent had much time behind it yet. ITs been raining like crazy around here so I barely was ale to ride today. I hope to get more seat time this weekend.

This front plate is actually the PA dudes one not Rod's. I have Rod's front and rears coming so I'll put the rears on but might keep this front on, I'm not sure yet. I like the way it came out. The combination of the windscreen and that front number plate really change how the bike looks. It looks really mean now in person.

Do you guys know if Fabbri makes a shield for the 999 and where I can see pics and/or order it? I have the ZG DB and love it, just curious since I like the smoother curves on this one.

Looks like they do, Here's a link to the double bubble page.

I ordered mine from Eurocorsa out of Canada, It's the only place I could find
In North America that's a dealer and has them in stock. You'll have to send a
e-mail(or call) and tell them what you want, they don't have an order page.
Mark is great to deal with.

I got mine from motowheels out of California, they have them in stock... Well the dark they do, the light smoke were on order a few weeks back but they might have them in now. Super fast shipping and really easy to work with.

The plate looks real good, any problems with the install? Is it staying down ok for you? Any twists of the plate near the bolt holes?

I still like the rear plate much better from Scott here in PA. The Cut ones are just too big IMO.

Not yet, the first one was split as I stretched it and was fine but ran so I removed it. This one went on easier but I still prefer the wet application. I totally like how the plate looks really makes the bike look good. How are you liking your windscreen?

The windscreen is nice, nice quality.

I actually removed my front plate because it keeps twisting up around the bolts and I could not get it to settle down. I kept the rear plate and the front fender; I think it looks pretty good that way. I could always have my friend redo it but I have bugged him enough with it all. My original plan was to go the CF route so I think I am just going to start down that path of $$$.

Your bike is looking good!

Do you mean the bolts that hold the windscreen down? I wonder if you could cut/punch a hole that would be just big enough for the screw to help with that. Maybe the bolts were too tight or not tight enough? I'll keep an eye out for that.

Yeah... The guy who printed your's and mine installed mine. He did a good job but watching him I would have did things maybe a little bit different. After I left his place, everything looked solid but over the course of a few days the decals twisted around the windscreen holes. The fact that I store my bike in shed that can reach temps over 100 F I'm sure does not help matters. I tried to straiten them back out some with a hair dryer and a couple other methods but they never seemed to sit right to my liking. Most people would not have cared and my friend all think I am nuts for taking the front plate off...

What can I say, the curse of a perfectionist. It’s right, wrong or damn near close for my liking however this sat like a thorn in my side for some reason… “shrug”

Well I'll definately keep an eye out for that. I live in Texas so seeing 110 is a daily thing on a hot summer day. That means it will be out in those kind of temps sitting outside the office or when I am out riding.

I got the cutgraphix one on its way and they say that one gets better with heat. I guess the material is different, wet app vs non-wet app. Hopefully this one doesnt do that cause it really looks nice and I really dont wan tot have to pull the front off again. :(

I hear ya bro. Yeah the front strip that is on my fender was a wet app.. My friend also said the same thing, that it was good to let it bake in the sun but mine was more in the heat than direct sunlight. I'm sure you will ok and I know my friend uses high quality stuff.

Jason, what brand footpegs are those? Got a source? How much? I like the stock peg location, I just want/desire/need something that grabs my boots better.
