Hi Folks -- need your advice. I recently inherited a wrecked '06 Sport Classic GT1000 and wanted to get the experts opinion on how to deal with it.

I know the question is what's the condition of the bike -- it had a front impact that damaged the tire/forks/shocks and the cosmetics but many of the core components are still good.

Would it be best to part out the bike or sell it as a whole to someone who wants a project. Whats the best place to do this? Btw, I'm located in Washington State.

Really appreciate the input!

Fixing it all would be more then it's value unless you had the parts laying around. Selling it out as a project in wrecked condition would get you a couple g's. Parting it out would get you around 3-4 g's. Loved the GT's and they have a following.

I'ld throw a price tag on it I was comfortable with letting it go and if someone bites, great! If not, part it. But thats just me.

Best of luck, J
