BST all the way. If you want colour.....OZ mags.
+1 ..

I'd probably go with the BSTs if faced with your dilemma, best bang for the buck IMO.

Personally LOVE their 7-spoke design as well. Post some pics when you render a decision.

The Galespeed carbon wheels are insane expensive. 9k on ebay. Also ran into a couple of things on the web saying some pretty bad experiences with BST wheels. From cracking to delamination.

If you are wanting black......BST 7spoke. I've never seen any problems with the 7 spokes. 5 spokes I've heard of some issues although when I dug further in to the stories, turned out the bikes had been crashed previous to wheel problems. One assclown went on a total crusade against BST cause his rear wheel came apart on his CBR1000RR and when the dust settled, it had been found that he had cart wheeled the bike at Willow Springs 4 weeks previous and had to re-build the bike.

For gold, I'd go OZ and if you want any other colours, March is your best bet.

There maybe marginal differences from front to back (from memory) but as a set I think they are now on par with each other weight wise.

I suspect the weight of the actual rim, as opposed to the spokes, maybe lighter on the BST's but you'd be splitting hairs there. If that is true then the BST's are technically better given rotational inertia etc etc.

We thrashed the crap out of this here on the forum some years ago.

The OZ wheels imo would be the best bang for buck.

^^^ yep, thrashed and re-thrashed.... Some of my frenz race on Carbon Fiber wheels, some on Mag Wheels, some on forged Aluminum Wheels, some on OEM Cast Aluminum Wheels.... comes down to personal pocket book and taste.
I personally like Magnesium, have both Marchesini and Marvic, but would for sure love a pair of OZ Magnesium wheels.........but I am not much of a carbon fiber fan...it is a flaw in my DNA.....

Not quite sure where you are located, but willing to at the very least speak with you on this matter. Yes indeed, so many choices with lists of Pro's and Con's being made, items crossed out, things circled and then re-written, etc etc. LOL .

Yes sir, I went thru the same agonizing period myself not entirely too long ago. Take your time for sure and again - if you would like any assistance feel free to PM me! :)

FYI- With a little help from my friends - Brocks!
