Hi, new to the forum and Ducati. Absolutely love my 821, but I made a bit of a mistake and left the key in the ignition yesterday, draining the battery:cross:. This wouldn't be a big issue except when I bought the bike (new) the wire running to the battery had been melted. They were going to fix it at the 600 mile service.

How much of a pain is it to pull the battery out? Are there any other options for me at this point?

Appreciate any suggestions

As a new owner, call the free # and have the bike sent to the shop, if the wires are melted warranty will take care of it. Read your terms of agreement as the warranty requires specific terms to keep valid.
