Hi all. Recently picked this puppy up used from a Harley dealer. Surprised it even lasted as long as it did for $15K (4K miles). Had to make the trade in of my 2015 Diavel because this is literally my dream bike. Anyway, I had a couple questions maybe one of you could help me out.

-Resetting the PIN. How can I do it without having the previous owner's PIN?
-Front stand. On my old 1198 I had some Putbull stand adapters that made it possible to lift it from the lower triple trees (since there wasn't a hole in the steering head for a pin). What are you guys with Pitbull stands using to raise the front? Land vehicle Vehicle Motorcycle Motor vehicle Motorcycle fairing

1st off Let me say congrats on the bike, I soon will be picking up my 1199s your bike looks great.
I too would like to know as I will be buying a used 1199s and would guess that I will be running into the same problem.
What area do you live? the cheapest I have seen In the D.C area was about 18-21k

K3, unfortunately I live in Omaha, NE (military). I would've loved to have this bike while I was stationed on the west coast! At least there's a couple tracks out here, though.

Great find ! .. the rear pit-bull should stand should work just find.

Don't think the front stand is a direct transfer, I could be mistaken though.

The 1199s takes a pitiful hybrid head lift stand with a 28s pin. Look to the bottom of the triple tree and you'll see a round piece of plastic that can be removed to accommodate the pin. Make sure it is seated all the way in and to the rear...not much clearance there,

Silk.
As stated before, where & when I totally forget, but recall discussing our locations once. If you have NOT committed to that bike 110% PM me and I can definitely help you out with favorable pricing in the area my man. Also, that goes for ANYTHING else you will need after the purchase and bike related on EVERY level brother! Just thought Id offer.

Forgive my memory as it is tragically effected. :(

Perfect. This was the answer I was looking for. I have a hybrid front stand but I can't remember what year I bought it. I say that because PB's site says the pin won't fit hybrid stands made in 2012 (IIRC) and earlier.

From the Harley dealer in Lincoln. Was on Craigslist for a little while. We should meet up and go riding one day. Moved here a year and a half ago and don't have any riding buds so I only know of one good route (Loes Hills). I forget how to spell it...
Im in man. I dont know any good routes around here and I never join all those group rides they post on FB. Ill send you my Info Via PM. I think Ducati Of Omaha has a Ride coming up in a couple of weeks that Ima attend.
