Hello and Welcome!!
I'm a RC owner myself, with a 1098 Base on the way.
Fun riding out in New Bern; I was stationed out in Cherry Point back in the 80s.
Send pics of the 1098; some of us have a while til we get delivery.

I'll put some up tomorrow after I get my Termi install complete. I'm going to get a couple of pic's for other knuckle heads like me that couldn't find the ECU or Lambda valve.

I thought you had to do some trick stuff that only a dealer could do to program in the new ECU? Or is that just dealer hype to get you to hand over more $$

I helped my dealer with the pre-delivery inspection at which time I installed the slip-on Termis. He had told me there was some set up necessary with their diagnostic computer but when we got to that point, all we did was go through the throttle position set up. I'm not convinced it would be necessary unless you had stalling issues after the exhaust install.
