Hey Guys,

I have been quietly working on a little side project for the past few months i have dubbed "Brakers".

I am finally getting close enough to where i can share what that project is

More info and some case renders on my kickoff site: Brakers - Ducati Brake Light Signal Light for 848, 1098, 1198.

I am shooting for a launch date of Sept. 24th for my indiegogo page to try and get funding to make these lights a reality.

I should have some 3d printed cases done next week and will get some videos up of the prototype unit installed on the bike.

What do you guys like/dislike about them? There is still time for small changes

These lights are going to be super bright and really grab drivers attention!

Also, I would be interested in sending out a prototype unit to a lucky 1x98 owner to get some feedback, so if anyone is interested please speak up!

Ive got my stocks in those vents but might be interested in this set up. I would also like to pair it with the TST tail. I think they would make a badass combo.

Working on getting that for you guys asap. Have a test rig on my bike now just need to finish the 3d printed cases and do a few other things.

Keep in mind this is a 3d printed 'clear' case but as you can tell it's not clear like my integrated tail light is. That is the final finish if these make it to production so they will really let alot of light thru (more than the tail light).

These things are freaking blinding!

Update!!!!

I will have new modules and wire harnesses in 2-3 weeks to give out to 3 lucky people for testing (pretty much everything except the cases for the circuit boards).

1 - 848 2008/2009 Year
1 - 1098 any year
1 - 1198 any year

Would prefer to give them in person so if you are in MA/RI/CT area (i am in central mass) and want to get a set of test lights let me know, you have priority over the rest of the world to get a test unit.

- Must be able and willing to remove exhaust and under-tail heat shield to get access to brake/turn indicator plugs to connect the lights.
- Agree to keep all testing results and product details confidential (will have to sign an NDA saying you wont disclose anything about the product)

The 1198 is a 2011.

The bike is prepped and ready and I will figure on postage to/from your location even though I am a bit further than you want (So Cal).

Quick update for those still following along...

Last batch of test boards are on their way. Probably 1-2 week lead time. If all goes according to plan should have these ready for sale by xmas time, crowdfunding campaign will probably launch late next month or early December.

Don't want to rush anything at this point, I want these to be top quality and worthy of being attached to a Ducati

Will be available for "pre-order" when I start the IndieGoGo campaign in February for around half of retail cost. (looking at 100-150USD retail, trying to keep costs low but dont want to use cheap components on a Ducati)

Still need a 1098 and 1198 owner to test these out for me!!!!!!!!

Do you have 848 EVO testers? I know when TST came out with there tail, they found that the EVO/1198s needed a bit of tweaking.

Sending test unit out tomorrow to an 1198 owner, and i have personally tested on my 2012 848 corse without any issues.

Still would like to have an older 848 and a 1098 tested, what year is your 848?
