Hi,

Am buying a set of carbon BST wheels, and thought it also good timing to swap the rear sprocket to a 41 with the front remaining 15. Will also replace the chain. From posts I have read this seems to be a good setup. I am never going to be using the bike about 100mph/160kph.

Just concerned about the possible change in wheelbase, and what length the chain should/will be.

Any advice appreciated

Make sure you buy a sprocket for the BST wheel, standard sprockets will not fit on the BST carrier

is a good theoretical place to start

e.g. by changing to a 41 tooth rear and adding 2 links (98 total) will shorten the wheelbase by 5.35mm from stock (15/36/96)

adding another 2 links (100) will lengthen the wheelbase by 10.63mm over stock
