Newer OEM Slave Cylinder Diameter?

Hi Shazaam -
I haven't had to disassemble a later-type clutch slave - only replaced them - but I seem to remember the stock slave cylinder/piston diameter was 26mm.
With alternative 'softer-action' cylinders in 28 or 30mm, with correspondingly lighter lever action, and of course less separation of the actual clutch. The second and less-thought-of aspect of slave cylinder replacement.
When I replaced my clutch (for the third time) I went over to an EVR housing and plates set-up (with the curved slots and plate tags, and more of them).
This clutch did not separate as well as the stock arrangement, causing the clutch to drag and make gear selection when stationary very difficult. It was a real nuisance when held at the line at the track when I first fitted it.
I had to remove my MPL 28mm slave and refit the stocker to regain proper clutch separation. The separation of the EVR clutch has improved with use but anyone contemplating one should be aware of this. They don't work with a larger-bore slave.
