Hello,

I have a 1098s and I really don't like the original rear sets.

I am thinking of changing them for the rizomas but I would like to get more opinions/options for this bike.

Some of my friends told me that for rear sets, rizomas are not as good, that it is more aesthetics than performance. What do you guys think?

If you have pictures of the rear sets installed that's even better!!!

Metaltech's are awesome… I also like the cheaper eccentric pegs, they have a bit more adjustability. Many manufacturers make them, just gotta look around.

My favorite are Metaltech. Adjustable and still have folding pegs, which in my opinion are a must unless you want the bike to be a total loss from a crash.
Not entirely true if the fixed pegs have notched break-off points. My CRGs usually break either at the peg or adjuster 'domino' plate in each of the downs I've had, thus saving the rearset mounting tabs from breaking.

Woodcraft here. They do everything they need to for a fraction of the cost of most others. Plus they're fully adjustable and rebuild-able.

Woodcraft are probably best bang for your buck. They don't look as appealing as others but they work really well. I would agree with your statement about Rizomas. All flash and expensive but nothing great. Though Rizoma does a good job with pretty much everything else, so not trying to be negative towards them by any means.

I have Podium Racing which they don't make anymore, because those were an even better deal than Woodcrafts. There really are lots of options. Can't really go wrong with anything that's been said so far. It's just a matter of preference and how much you're willing to spend.
