Coming from a highly tuned 1098s any words of advice or initial setup must do's? I am tracking the charcoal canister.

Get rid of the stock rearsets or at least the pegs.

The Race Seat is thicker and a bit flatter so you may like.

As for performance, these bikes are greatly complimented by exhaust cans, up-flashes, and hi-flow air filters ..

Some enthusiast have also gone with the engine block off plates for optimum tuning.

WOw this bike is amazing! I only tasted the power and it's ridiculous. I need a 592 mile roadtrip, a service and a track...stat

If changing the rear sets Woodcraft has a reverse shift set that will save you money. My understanding is that most others if not all will also require new electronics for the quick shift. I've used Woodcraft for years, for a reason...

DucaBike rearsets have a GP shift feature. No up-charge.

Congrats! I keep thinking about upgraded from my 1098 s. If you could post a review of the 2 bikes would be amazing! Ive heard some people miss the low end grunt of the 1098 compared to the 1199.
