It’s sad to say but since the first images of the 1098's appeared online, the triple nine market has been a steep incline. I sold my 2003 999 a little over a year ago, and quite frankly I’m glad I got rid of it when I did. What’s making the 1098 / 999 transition so hard on both dealers and private sellers is the 1098’s price. Just check on eBay, triple nines are selling ridiculously cheap! How much are you looking to get for yours?
I'm in the same boat I ordered a yello 1098 to replace a new Sport 1000. Didn't know the 1098 was coming or I wouldn't have bought the Sport last fall
Anyone interested? only 1100 miles with Termi pipes and speedymoto clutch and cover
