When I was removing the stock clutch slave cylinder I noticed that there was an orange o-ring that was buffering the engine case to the slave cylinder. The STM manual was pretty useless and didn't mention anything about using or not using this o-ring. I went ahead and used the o-ring on the STM clutch slave cylinder. What have all you other STM clutch slave owners done? Please let me know.

Here is a pic of the o-ring on the stock clutch slave. "Picture Supplied by Ten-6 ;-)"

What, no photo credit? :( ;) The Evoluzione came with a new one, I'm surprised the STM didn't. My only concern would be that the STM has a different fit or clearance to the engine case. The Evoluzione slave is slightly shorter with a larger gap, hence the new o-ring is twice as thick as the stock one.
