When I tried to adjust my suspension for the track I couldn't get the sag set in the front. I cranked the preload adjusters all the way in and it made zero difference.

I figured the front springs were too soft but as it turned out the springs were the correct rate but they are installed with no preload. The stock cartridges were pretty crappy too.

So I sent them out to RaceTech and they installed their cartridges and springs.

I should have a ride report this weekend.

Have they made the Gold Valves & spring sets yet or are you the 1st? They still don't list them as being available. I talked to them at the AHRMA races at Miller & considered sending mine off to them so they could use the forks as the development set but the possiblity (unrealized) of winter track days made me keep them on the bike.

I've RaceTeched a few bikes & love their products.

btw - the Showas (or Ohlins) do not use cartridges but are re-valved

These are their first 1098 forks. We were going to re-valve them but the internals were so crappy and since there was no spring to fit these forks and have proper preload we decided to install their latest RaceTech cartridges in them instead.
