Is there a trick to getting these out? I need to pull the pads on my rear brake and I can't get the pin to budge more than a mm. I have removed the clip from the end and expected it just to push on through, but it would not. Any help is appreciated.

I thought they would pull out, but maybe yours are frozen?

First time I did mine I think I used a small drift to knock them out. That's what happens when you buy a bike from a salty environment.

A drift did the trick. There was a ring around the pin that added extra friction. A firm tap with the drift was enough to overcome the friction.

All of that stuff gets a bit of anti seize when I reassemble now. I have learnt my lesson.
