What are you using to remove the big 54 mm nut ? and where to buy that tool ? It's not available from Ducati !

Yeah, there are usualy a few on ebay.

Try to find one like this, it does both the rear wheel and the front wheel nuts and it fits easily under your seat. Always carry it in your seat, although you might find someone with tools to help with a tyre/wheel problem they might not have a socket of the right size to remove your wheel.
Check that you are searching E-Bay international sites too as this one is from the UK.
