Gents, what tire pressure are you running on the 848 ? I'm thinking 35 PSI front / 38 PSI rear - cold ?

I corner pretty hard but I've never had such a light bike and I'm all of 5'8 160.

Couldn't really figure out the manual recommended pressure so I thought I would ask.

I ride with no more than 34 front and rear on the street. Usually between 32-34. If I'm going out to carve up sweepers and ride hard, probably a max of 32 (Street) On the track about 29-30......

I ride 36/36 unless I'm at the track or I'm going for a hard ride. Then it's 29/31.

The manual says 2.1 Bar front / 2.2 Bar rear. That equals 31 psi front / 32 psi rear. That's what I'm running now. For the track it will be lower. Over-inflating will reduce grip...

I agree with sb_848. I rode mine for the first time without checking the tire pressure from the dealer and they had the pressure around 37psi. I lowerd them to 31 front and 30 rear and the feel and grip is much better. Will probubly drop a little further on the track.

I assume these are cold temp measurements? Once the tire warms up it is about a 10% increase. On my track bike I would run 30/29 and measure about 33/32 after lunch.

Cold 30, 31 psi front / 31, 32 psi rear.

Generally 32 - 34 F/R on a really hot day downunder 30 - 32 F/R
