What do you guys really think about your color choice now that you have lived with your 1098 Duc for a while? Any regrets?

I tried like crazy to get a yellow 1098, that color is stunning when seen in-person and is my favorite. A real jaw-dropper. The gray frame is the perfect compliment. Oddly, the camera seems to lose the excitement of yellow, it must be seen in-person. Doesn't seem to matter full sun or indoors, yellow rocks!

I ended up with the "safe color" red and it's OK, no regrets other than red bikes are everywhere. It would be boring on most other bikes.

What about black 1098 (s), never seen one...

Maybe TriColore is for guys who can't decide on color? (j/k). They're the ultimate, I just prefer monochromatic paint schemes.

I guess for me it had to be red. I've always associated that color with things Italian so no other color would have been acceptable to me. I don't dislike the others, it's just that red is what I wanted.

Red isnt the "safe color" it a gorgeous color. I have no regrets, although the yellow is gorgeous too. If the 's' came in yellow, I probably would've had a real hard time deciding.

We have three colors in the Italian sports vehicle world, red, yellow and black. Red is the sporty color if it has wheels, yellow is bold and the look at me color, black is conservative and sexy. Me, my fourth yellow duc what else, I almost switched to red this time but nah….I didn’t want to buck the trend after10 years! :p

Same here! If I was ever fortunate enough to be able to own a Ferrari or Lambo, they would have to be red also! Italian = Red

I wanted the yellow to be different, but black was my first choice to match my cage (car). I'll take your word on the Yellow as I have about 2 weeks before I pick mine up.

I agree with you. I got a yellow one as second choice but was amazed by how great it looked. Unfortunately I killed a deer with it after barely a month and its replacement should arrive any day, a red S. Oh the humanity!

I’ve always felt that anything Italian with wheels HAS GOT to be red! Mine is red, VERY red, and I love it! That said, the yellows are indeed stunning in person, and the Tris, pictures don’t do them any justice; they really have to be seen to be appreciated. I’ve only seen one in black, so they are exclusive, but it just didn’t “pop.” It was nice, but it didn’t make my heart skip a beat…

No regrets on Yellow.

I agree for the purest red is the one but Yellow called my name and I’m loving every bit of it. I have yet to see another yellow on the road.

Black is the only color I have not seen in person yet but I have not be disappointed with any of them when I saw them up close.

I decided on red myself but if I was in the market for an "S", black would have been my #1 choice. I think the bike looks great with the red frame and all.

There all so nice, you really can't go wrong IMO.
