Hey out there,

I may have to take the nose or Headlight Shell off to do some work. The manual says that the mirrors have to come off first. Are there any tricks to getting the clips and pins off to remove the mirrors. Any other help with removal of the nose would be appreciated.

3mm allen key is all you need for the retaining screw between the pins, then gently rock the mirror back and forth and the pins will come out of the clips. The fairing has a good amount of screws, all 3mm, be patient, it's easy. I'm in the same boat, I just put HID's on my bike and the fairing still in the basement. I just hope I remember where all the screws go! Good luck!
