Hey everyone,

I was wondering if you could think up a solution that could fix my problem here.

The threaded socket broke off, and it just doesn't feel right to drop $200+ on a stock mirror. So I'm thinking of either buying new aftermarket mirrors, or somehow fix the mirror.

Any suggestions welcome

Removing the two Phillips screws will free the spacer from the mirror, just be careful as they used locktite to secure, excessive torque could spin the threaded insert in the mirror. Its available in the long version from the dealer or on line but you have to buy both sides. Check your spares bin, you might get lucky and find a pair of 50mm extenders, Ducati gave these away on new bikes as a way to calm the masses who complained about visibility.

you could just leave the screw out. I was missing one and didn't even know it. rode the bike for many miles without anything happening. just make sure the mirrors click in when you push them back on.
