S4r oil cooler

Hello. Looking for some assistance. I have an 95 monster S4R. My oil cooler looks like crap needs cleaning and lines look bad as we'll.. Bought a toothbrush to clean oil cooler but wanted to change lines too. Does anyone know what will happen once I crack open the lines? Is this a shared line with engine oil? Do I need to remove all oil before servicing? Also when refilling is it a new capacity now due to extra oil needed in oil cooler? Tried searching in multiple forums...but no luck getting answer

If you replace the lines, expect some oil to come out of them. Catch the oil in a oil pan and at the end of replacement just put it back (check for debris)

Is this a shared line with engine oil -> yes

Do I need to remove all oil before servicing -> in essence no, but I would do that to avoid spillage in garage.

Also when refilling is it a new capacity now due to extra oil needed in oil cooler -> just check the oil level after warming up the engine and some 10minutes cool off period.

Just one more thing: if you remove oil hoses, you might want to replace any seals before reusing them (not sure if there are crush o rings).
Thank you....sorry about error it's "05" s4r.... i ordered new lines from pj's... but my issue is. Cleaning the cooler.,.for the he'll of it I called ducati today to get a price on a new one...figuring $100...maybe $150....i nearly shit a brick when the sales guy ( who was very nice and friendly) apoligised for the $500 price tag.... fml
A good AC cool cleaner will make it look like new again. Just don't get it on anything else.
