my 750ss has 6,582 miles. dealer said it needs the 6,000 miles maintenance schedule and will cost about $1,000 for labor and parts! is this for real? do anybody have an idea on what is specifically done on the 6,000 miles service?

Have you checked your owners manual to see what is recommended at that mileage?
