Pretty much same ole' same ole' at the front.

I'm more intrigued by what's going on farther down the list. A lot of "newbies" to this class and some new bikes/teams. Can't really draw any conclusions yet since they've only had 1 session on the bike so far. I expect most will shorten the gap to the leader very soon.

Anyone know what bike is MarcVDS using? Is that a Honda RCV1000?

Yea I agree Rub, it's gonna be a while before some of the new faces come to terms with a MotoGP bike. I'm watching Scott Redding and Cal Crutchlow very carefully on those factory Honda's. Though, it's amazing how much gap there is already from the top 4 to everyone else. Kinda scary if you think about it… :(
just under 4 hours left of the 2nd test session. Glad to see the Ducati guys in the top 6 mix. Dovi's killing it so far! 2nd place, just a tad bit over the 2:00 mark, and I think a new PB for him....yourgay's in 1st, only one to break under 2:00. I'm sure Marc will be there too...he holds the unofficial lap record record from year's testing with a 1:59.5....he's got almost 4 hours to do it anyway ;)

6 laps in session 3 and Marquez is taking the lead...with the Ducati boys right behind...all 3 under 2:00!!
It's a good thing he was never going to get any faster.

That was for you Bob.

Everyone is taking advantage of the extremely cooler temp's and excellent grip levels to churn in some fantastic lap times. Looks like the creme is finally rising to the top after everyone clamored over Jorge being quickest on wednesday. I for one and very glad Jorge is happy with his bike. It's going to make for an excellent season.

Stop buying shit then! :p

The cost for that wheel that you're trying to buy is basically the cost of a yearly video pass!

ORRRR....buy the wheel, then sell it for $200, and then you can buy the GP and WSBK video passes ;)

Daaaamn! Clearly the conditions are a bit better than they've ever been. Top 4 guys have broken the previous record set by Marquez in last year's testing. Iannone with a low 59...that's solid though! Marquez....untouchable like always. But Pedrobot came out of nowhere too!
Oh and LOL at Melandri! Getting bitch-slapped back to reality!....should've stayed in WSBK.

Nah...I just make poor financial decisions...and I don't have a wife to tell me not to! :p

Oh and I don't have cable...cost of cable would be roughly $700/year...instead I pay around $200 for the GP and WSBK videopasses, and that's it! :)

Yep, it's a small investment when you think about it.

I recommend finding a way.. Some how.. Some way..
Well worth it indeed.

This year looks like it will start where last year left off..
Honda looks good..
Yamaha still waiting for there new gear box already looks good..
Ducati awaits a new bike and already looks good..
Suzuki seemed to have sorted their longevity with their motors over the winter break.. And did not do that bad.. Add some power and it can get fun.

I am really looking forward to this season..

I'm hoping and optimistic for a good competitive season as well. It's been interesting watching MM string together his wins and beating some old established records but I'm looking forward to a season where when the red lights go out we are no expecting MM to cross the line first. Hopefully the red team makes some real strides this season...

Hopefully the great Cal Crutchlow can show us something he hasn't been able to ever in MGP. He can put his money where his mouth is...
