Hey guys,
Curious question that I couldn't quite pin down reading some other threads...

I'm thinking of picking up a '10 SF 1098S to go along with my '08 1098S, and I have some questions about parts interchangeability.

I have a TTX (valved for factory ride height, no aftermarket linkage) can I use it on an SF?

Wheels: Do the forged alum wheels from the superbike fit the SF? And if they do, are they lighter than SF S wheels and worth changing?

Thanks in advance.

This is me: :blind:

I did both those mods on my SF.

I have a DU931 and works great and it's actually listed for the 1098.

I picked up some S wheels from a 1098 Tricole, perfect match.

I also did a front brake transplant from a Panigale 1199 with M50's.

Yes, well worth it.

I don't know about the shock.

In regard to the SFS wheels. They are the exact same item as the 1098 S wheels.
So there's no weight advantage in changing unless you go for the Magnesium wheels in the DP catalogue.
A quick call to the spare parts department of your local dealer will confirm this if they look it up on the computer.

Ok thats what I was thinking about the wheels not being any different, but I might still do it anyway for aesthetics. I definitely dig the red stripe, as opposed to the bronze. Good info on the shock too. Still looking as the options. Thanks for everyone's input.
