Has anyone removed their side stand? Can I unplug the harness for the side stand and not have an issue?

I removed mine, but assumed the bike wouldn't run without some sort of bypass if I unplugged the harness, so I zip-tied it in the position it would be in if the stand were up.

Thats what I did on my Mille. I will try it unplugged and report!

You can't run with it unplugged but its possible you can bypass with a wire, I didn't try it. I bought some cable hangers and stuck them in the lower to hang it from.

I'm curious. Why would someone want to remove the sidestand?
