I just picked up my 2015 1299 Panigale today, and the seat sucks. I was so excited about finally riding my own 1299 Pani, but I was sliding all over this seat. I am not sure if it is the original seat, but I am replacing it immediately. I am looking for a seat that will hold me in place whether I am cornering, braking, or accelerating. Anyone got any suggestions on a good brand or model?

Have an upholstery shop re-cover it in Alcantara, an artificial suede.
What about Luimoto? They have a couple of pretty good looking seat covers available. I may go with the Diamond suede seat cover. The only bummer is that they are "Made to Order". Which means its probably 3 weeks out, and I am running out of riding season up here in the Rockies.

I use the Ducati Performance racing seat. It has an alcantera like texture to it and it’s shaped to keep you from sliding into the tank. Much better than the stock seat.
