Check out my rear tire after one track day. It sure looks like a big chunk is about to fall out. Reminds me of the old Metzler smile problem from the late 90's. I am installing Bridgestone BT002 Pros this week.

I think the problem was running the tire at Brainerd in 96 degree ambient and probably 125-140 degree surface temp. My guess is the tires simply got so hot that after the event when the cooled they cracked. The crack is right on the part of the tire that is used in turn one and two which are both super fast (175mph and 140mph). I was just checking to see if anyone else has had an issue before I whine to the dealer for help!! LOL.
