my stock hub set wore out and i'm upgrading to an ADS superlite polyurethane hub set. problem is that the hubs don't quite fit in the sprocket. i was thinking of doing the thermal trick (stick the hub set+drive sprocket in the freezer and then inserting into gear sprocket), but wondering if there were other thoughts.

advice welcome!!!

If the former doesn't work try this: Get a bunch of worm clamps, maybe two for each and tighten them up around each of the hubs and toss them in freezer for several hours. Pull each one out individually and quickly remove the worm clamps and immediately press them into the sprocket carrier. Freezing will shrink them slightly but will also stiffen making them inflexible and difficult to press in. Freezing them squished smaller will help keep them from rebounding immediately giving some time to press them in before they warm and swell. Putting both in the freezer will have zero net effect as far as shrinking since both will shrink together.
