T-rex frame sliders

I am wondering if anybody has used the sliders. I like the idea of not cutting my fairing. Guess it really does not matter because if you go down they are going to get rashed anyway. These are pricey but I like the idea.
I have ordered them, but can cancel if need be. I think they look trick, but will they do any good? Already have front and rear axle sliders ready to install. Got to be better than nothing huh?
