Fairings including tank is a smoking deal for $400! Too bad I have two sets of body work already, or I'd be all over this.

Holy shit! Put me down as next on the list for the fairings/tank combo if it doesn't work out with the other guy! Are the fairings damaged at all?

Also if you sell the forks and still want stock ones I have a set I can sell you. Sounds like you're just selling off the aftermarket stuff and bringing it back to stock? If you need any stock parts, let me know, I might have it.

Moving on to a different bike?

Yes, I'm thinking 1299
Maybe an older 1199R

Just got back from the track yesterday and my buddy on his new zx10 kept getting me on the straights. Can't let that happen again!

I have another bone stock 848 I might hold onto, I'm not too sure of her fate either

Any suggestions?

Tadashi, can you post a pic of the TC unit that lets you change TC settings on the fly? LOVE that feature about the RSV4. Is it plug and play? I also love my galfer waves, so thinking about your waves as spares. How many miles on them?

It's plug and play, it piggybacks off the connector in the tail.
The TC-POD is supposed to let you adjust for different profile tires and even 16.5" wheels
Disclaimer: This unit is supposed to hold its memory of the last setting, for some reason it does not anymore so you cannot adjust for different size tires. But it works just fine to change the setting on the fly, whenever turn your bike on it starts at level 6

The buttons on the clutch master are the controls and the unit is under the dash with the blue 6

Ah your killing me ☺ must resist temptation........

The sp quick shifter - is that a universal one that splices into ignition wires or is it 848 specific? I just picked up an sxv550 and may be interested in a universal quick shifter.

It's a 2 wire so it should work with any qs with 2 wires?

Do I have the same rotors that you have?

And I do have that aluminum subframe we were talking about

Let me check how the SXV works. What do you mean by "2 wire" ?

I'll pass on the rotors - my 848 is track only and it takes a beating so I'd want something newer. I have the same ones on now, and love them!

I ended up picking up a motoholders from Phil on the forum here just a day before you posted this thread!

Wel I was thinking I was going to have to ship it so it would have been pretty pricey.. Someone local is picking it up haha oops
