Not sure about the construction of the SL rear end there, but I have to give it to DP for finally making something of solid value when it came to one of these!
Mine works and looks really well so perhaps they can cut you a good deal on one of those since you got the cream of crop for a bike?

Evotech, R&G, and Competition Werks have kits that clean up the tail nicely..

Not sure if the 1199SL tail assembly is the same as its siblings -

CW or S-T Integrated tail~turn unit

I definitely like the sanitary tail setup where the marker is tucked in just behind the 'BBQ' header loop rather than below the tail light assembly on most kits. Hope that someone familiar chimes in with the maker/source of said kit!?

Thanks Gunny re DP. BTW, is your avatar the 'Bonneville Wing' helmet?

Here's another selection: http://www.pure-ducati.com/c-186-carbon-bodywork.aspx

Stated elsewhere regarding integrated P'ale tail-turn kit;
"So I'm thinking that this piece is made by Shift-tech and not Competition Werkes. There's nothing stating that CW made it but there is a Shift-tech "removal voids warranty" sticker on it. I'm also concerned with the fact that the silicone used to seal the lens to the housing is thick in some areas but appears to be non-existent in other areas. I hope this thing doesn't get moisture in it. Here are some pics. "

Maybe make a few aftermarket calls ....

A brother from another mother explained elsewhere regarding a P'ale; "I installed a red CW (Comp`Werks) tail light for a customer last weekend and fit and finish were excellent. The turn signals are no more visible than with the clear lens on my bike, but I like the red lens better."

CW site shows P'ale (no SL listed) iIntegrated tail/indicators clear or smoke. Red is apparently now available and superior in appearence. Aftermarket LED brightness is an expected compromise over OEM. Unsure as to P'ale~SL tail-light assembly variation (if any). No indicative cross reference search results. Perhaps with current SL dealer exposure, a call to parts/service will avail definitive confirmation as 'same or different' re fitment.

Will list maker/pn for SL unit post-fitment.

I was just looking at that shift tech. It's 100 dollars cheaper. I'm worried about the quality, but the way it works sounds for superior to the cw. I don't know which one to get for my 2014 panigale s. I installed Phillips on my 848 and the when you hit the brake it blinked 3 times, looked great.

I've installed the Shifttech unit on my Superleggera. Fitted easily, looks good. The indicator LEDs aren't that bright, but it's just about ok for occasional road use. I used the DP carbon tail tidy with indicators removed and have had carbon blanks made to fill the old indicator mount holes.

Thanks for that. Just emailed Motowheels.
For What It's Worth:
G_Force, Below is listing info & response to an inquiry (I'd sent before locating Motowheels) from the Australian decal eBayer that indicates their Panigale R decals as being silver although OEM (clearly) having white appearance. Of note: Being manufactured in Italy, I'd wager their matching OEM color. You may find that all decals are listed as 'silver'. I Haven't seen anything else specificying factory 1199 R decal color (white vs silver). Silver seems likely in pulling together a theme with the 'raw' R's alloy tank upper. Motowheels may potentially cut white at your request if factory is silver. FIIK! (^8

"Hi,
Thank you for your email.
The sticker is in silver color and should be matching the OEM silver (never do the comparison side by side).
Never received complaint from our customer about silver not match.
Our product is from company Vulturbke from Italy, not from Ducati.

Hope MotoWheels can deliver on the 'white' for you.
