Ducati have announced that they will be moving away from their normal collection of sporty and superbikes and will be making a Scrambler. It is hoped that this could be a cheaper bike and therefore may mean that more Ducati fans will be able to afford a model from the expensive Italian manufacturers.
It was back in the 1960’s and 1970’s when Ducati first had a Scrambler model and it is expected that the design from this bike will be built on for this modern version. Ducati has not had a lot to say about the model though with no technical details at all and only a few teaser shots released. It is expected that there will be a slow injection of information before it debuts in the autumn this year with predicted sales starting early next year.
