Picked her up this spring. Was going to buy a demo 1199 from my dealer, Indy Ducati, but it sold the day before I went to go look at it. Then they told me they had a gentlemen who had a set up 1199S but was going to have a baby and might need to dump it. Lo and behold, right place, right time, right price. Full system ceramic coated matte black. Woodcraft rearsets, powder coated passenger pegs, DP comfort seat, DP windscreen, CF rear fender, DP whale tail eliminator, prewired battery tender. Love her!!!

That's usually one of the best views of the 1199... very nice looking ride and be safe out there.

Congrats! Picked mine up last month and need to get the plate holder sorted and a new Pit Bull front stand adapter bar. Anyone know that PN#?

The ceramic coated is the way to go for sure. The only way I probably wouldn't go that route is if I had the Akras and you could see the Ti turn blue. I had a 1098S the same way. The matte black looks better and hides welds and such. Does make it a little cooler too.

thanks for the feedback, never went the ceramic coated route..

thought the exhaust wraps were less attractive but pretty satisfied considering the cost

Honestly, I think I paid 250 to have mine ceramic coated. In the end, for what the bike costs, hell even the exhaust itself, I didn't feel like that was the place to cut corners. Of course to each his own, that's what makes biking so awesome, but that was my engineering logic :)
