Just wanted to be sure before topping up oil level here. I've got a 1098R and looks like the fairing has to come off to do this. I'll check coolant level while I'm at it. I checked the level whilst bike is cold and it's just under the low mark in the sight glass with the bike vertical. When the engine is still warm the level is about half way between the max and min levels. The manual States to check level while engine is cold and top up accordingly. Time to top up?

I pull the nose fairing off to check/fill the coolant. I know people say you can do it without removing the nose but that means flexing the fairing more than I like. Also you need to remove the air runner on that side to get the rad cap off. That's why the nose has to come off.
While you have the runner off have a look inside the airbox to make sure the filter is sealing.
