The map makes a good difference. Congrats on the purchase. It was my favorite upgrade so far. Only thing is now I'm riding with ear plugs if the DB killers are out.

I just bought this and will be having it installed in the next week or so (dealer said I might as well wait until my 1000km service). DB killers in or out? Or do people switch them?

Does it need to be re-mapped when you take them in and out?
I have mine out on a 696. Love it.

Not sure if it would need to be remapped just for that.
The race termi comes with a remap key, mine runs ok without the map, it's pretty loud without the db killer, you don't need to remap for db killer in or out, the remap is really because the race can has no built in cat. I don't know how the remap affects the ridding modes, does anyone know?
I have noticed it doesn't pop on the overrun with the termi fitted
