Looks like it's gone now, but the price was a bit crazy.

It will be difficult to verify the authenticity of one of these, and of course most genuine ones will have been raced.

But many were created using a proprietary frame, and a modified Pantah engine.

I'm pretty sure the original frame was by Verlicchi, Ducati's long-time supplier. But they were subsequently offered by a mob called Forceltai or something like that.

So there could be any number of them out there looking like originals, but not.

Most authentic ones out there will have originated as a TT600, with gold wheels and (troublesome) gold Marzocchi forks.

My little brother has one which he raced for a while. Not sure if he knows it's worth this much..
