Nice! I think you're going to have a hot product on your hands. Since the rear vents will be blocked are you going to cut vent holes in the under pan?

Ten,

You think that's necessary? I dont' think those vents we're serving any real purpose other than looks....

I don't know, that's what I was asking. The vents do evacuate heat build up that's produced from the exhaust. Not to mention you now have air pressure coming in from the front with no where to go. At 150mph his tail could explode!!! :p

That does loog good. I am going for the same thing just mounting inside the vent.

Mind if I ask what size led you used (voltage and intensity)? I can only find 2.1v/1900cmd locally. Yours does appear to be way brighter than mine. If I want brighter I think I will have to order them.

Nice mate!

I’ve always preferred more separation of the turn signals like that. The integrated brake/turn style is neat but I often wonder it they make intentions seem a little ambiguous.

If you worry about venting the tail would it be possible to cut a vent in the rear underside of the tail assemby in the black plastic?

Great job so far.

Cheers
Ross

I think if you put them behind the mash screen and with a red lens (or yellow) it will look awesome and hidden from the eliments....check mine when off...same idea, design and pcb/ LED work.

My 2c... to each his own!

PS: Zoom in to see it clearly

Samikai,

They're 2.1v, 1300 minicandella (whatever that is). Are yours red? The yellows are brighter. Got them from www.digikey.com, part # 67-1123-ND.

Enrico,

Looks very nice and no lense hassle. I just wanted them outside a little bit.

Saint,

I believe it's known as "computer board". Fiber plastic squares with a whole lot of evenly spaced little holes in it. Radio Shack has it. You put the leds in the holes, solder six at a time in series, and then parallel wire the groups of six. I also painted the board to match the red/white lines on the fairing. All very easy and simple. But time consuming.

Cloud rider are you planning on cutting out the white section of the tail like Enrico's? Also how are you planning on venting out the excess air? looks like teh computer board has small holes but i am not sure if it will be enough.
Looks great btw keep up the good work.

Cool. Im not sure how to solder them in series do you mean you take six of the lights and connect thier wires together then connect those wires with another group of 6? And what are the difference in LED lights? is thier brighter ones also how did you get the computer board to fit perfect in there? what did u use to get the exact measurements for the hole?
