Yep, if they're shorted together like that, looks like the side stand switch to me!

Yea, the cable was routed to the other side for some reason… there isn't any other cable that when shorted together, the bike still runs.

Neutral safety switch is a single cable.

The clutch safety switch has a short cable and not all desmoquattro's have them.
