Ummmm not trying to be a hater here, but I'm seeing a lot of stock 848 evos. The 1098s with Termi exhaust has some shadows on it and the other is a track bike and the picture is in the dead of the night lol.

My vote is going to the 1199 but there has to be some more impressive bikes out here, right?

edit: Sorry, one of the 848's has an Arrow exhaust lol

I don't think stock/mod etc is what it's all about it's the context along with the bike.

My bike isn't stock by any means. And even more so now since this pic, but still wasn't stock

Exactly, T. This isn't about who spent the most.
I didn't realize what I wrote would come off to sound as vein as it's being portrayed. lol My comment wasn't meant as a snobby attempt to imply that a lot of money needs to be spent in order to have a nice bike.

I was thinking decals, different paint scheme, possibly orange lights or something festive...

Sorry if it came off dickish...

That's cool. Sorry about the confusion. Didn't mean to offend anyone by my comments.

Don't people put decals on their bikes anymore?? lol

I didn't take it as dickish fact is my bike may look stock (for the most part intentional) but there are a lot of aftermarket parts on it. As far as decals stickers etc. less is more for me I really don't care fore them on this particular bike. Take carbon for example for me I don't really care for the look to each his own, but there are always exceptions some carbon when done right looks good but a piece here and there well that doesn't do it for me.

Agreed that the carbon can be over done for sure. And if I remember correctly, you have the red frame evo so that bike pretty much just stands out not needing anything. I really like black decals on the pearl white and pearl white decals on the belly pan... it looks very classy and adds a little racy look.

Yeah I've converted all the black plastic to carbon as well as the clutch cover and heat exhaust shield but don't intend to do anything else with it. Also the heel guards are with the rearsets I got I guess. I mainly do mids that are bennificial to the performance or for a reason. They look stock but I have the A&R baffle kit cuz of the sound but also weight savings. Ducabike levers and rearsets. Rizoma fluid tanks. Galfer wave rotors are now on too. I like the classy look too which means as clean as possible for me. I like the stickers or paint jobs like that for limited run bikes, not mockups like mine would be if I converted it myself. I do want to get a second tank and fairings and get a custom dark grey paint job though to stand out from every other 848evo

Nice... Carbon belly fairing too?? I don't think i've seen that on a pearl white evo before, would probably look great. The Rizoma reservoirs are awesome looking and I've never used the Galfer wave rotors before but I can imagine with the monobloc brembos calipers, the stopping power must be impressive.

Yeah, I'd like to get another set of plastics too. Paint them different colors, matte, glossy.. all sorts of stuff

Everyone always asks me why I want to get another set of plastics for my 848. I dont know what it is about Ducati Superbikes, but it seems like whatever color option you go with it ALWAYS looks good. I love my matte white/red frame and red wheels colorway, but I think part of the fun is making it your own.

Very very very nice. That's 3 very's. lol The gold levers and rearsets are a great touch too. I like how they look without the heat guard tho, but I heard it gets too hot. Now all you need is the carbon termis and you're set.

I like that a lot.

National Harbor??
It's actually the alexandria side of the river but some fancy expensive townhouses. Close call though

Haha thanks man. Yeah I thought the gold would spice up the red white theme without going overboard. No termi's for me though, I love the a&r sound and they are far too pricey. I do plan to ceramic coat them black though for looks. I also will get a second tank and fairings and paint that set in the color scheme I rendered on the panigale below (but keep the carbon parts carbon of course). That is this winters project ;-)
