Why not just use the PC to do all the tuning, I run my 996R with the stock ECU (the one that came with my 54 mm Termis went paws up) and a power commander that fills in the gaps.

With the stock ECU you can not adjust the mixture with the powerCommander below 5200 RPM, the race ECU is different and will let you adjust the mixture throught the whole RPM Range.
