In the reviews I have read they have stated that there is a TCS function on the dash. The factory is supposed to be providing this as a upgrade in the future. Is this purely a engine management feature like the BMW TCS system or is there a physical change involved

Other articles quote that a optional slipper clutch will be added to the accessory list

I enjoyed the engine braking offered on my triumph 955i. But I realise that on a twin its even more powerful to the extent it could present an issue into corners ?

So what are the options and what would be reasonable for the average rider cost/benefit

I think there are comments on another thread that the TCS option is just a marketing myth since there aren't enough inputs on the bike. The article in March 2007 issue of Sport Rider says that the engine braking has been reduced via "trickery in the (engine) mapping".
I rely on the engine braking on my RC and it seems the 1098 will require a new riding style.
