Hey guys,

Just about to that point where my bike will be going in the garage and staying for a good 4-5 months. :(

I've only got about 300 miles on it, and I've only ridden in beautiful weather, so I don't feel the need to give it a wash and wax just yet.

However, the wheels (black) have quite a bit of dirt and gunk built up on them already. What do you guys recommend as a safe cleaning product to get this cleaned up and have them shining like new again?

Awesome. Thanks for the replies.

Do you recommend trying to rinse off any excess when finished?
The only draw back to the WD40 is it will pick up dust, you could counter this with wiping it down after the WD40 with a damp (water) cloth but I like the shine of the WD and its like a protective layer it helps in preventing the grime from sticking.
